We hate to keep dumping on poor Christine—especially since there's no chance an intelligent elecorate would be bamboozled by her nuttiness.
Oh, wait! I forgot this was America, where a quarter of the "intelligent electorate" believe there are Death Panels in the health care bill and nearly 40% still think Sadaam Husein was responsible for 9/11. Welcome to Washington, Senator O'Donnell.
Whatever. All we know is that she's stupidly hilarious. But I wish Maher would have let her finish the Darwin himself line. What? Darwin himself said evolution was a myth? Darwin himself was a monkey? And Bill Maher's comment about monkeys makes me think he's not so up on the theory himself. We didn't evolve from monkeys or chimps, Bill—neither of which are going to evolve into humans no matter how much time you give them.
